Not sure if the AC was broken or what but it was SUPER cold in the store. I live in California and it get’s hot, but it’s hard to shop when you’re shivering. Still, I did get a pretty killer sweater! I’ll come back in the winter when it’s warmer ;)
I used to work and retail and so I know how tough it can be, your staff is just the best. Never had a bad interaction with them and they are super knowledgeable about the origin of the materials, construction, stock levels, discounts. It’s kinda crazy.
Don’t shop much, but when I do I can’t stand when things are out of stock. That’s never a problem with you guys. Always have what I want so I can get in and out, no fuss.
The quality of the clothing is excellent. My mother is a seamstress and she’s always commenting on the meticulous care given to the stitches on my Hem & Stitch sweaters. The store was closed the day I tried to visit, but I had the next day off so I came back.
When I shop online I end up returning half of the stuff I order, so it’s always nice when I can come into the store to make sure I love the color and fit. The staff is always really friendly and totally understands you gotta try on a lot of stuff to find the perfect piece.
Love your stores. From the music, to the staff, to the way you present all the garments. Every time I step in the store I feel inspired to dress better :)
Love being able to make returns at the store for the things I bought online. So much better than printing a return label and shipping it out. Plus I can walk out with something new on the spot.
I had to return an online purchase, and I figured I’d just run down to your Palo Alto store. Your staff was able to make it happen, but they hadn’t processed an online return before, so it took a few minutes. It’s really convent to shop this way, so I’d suggest making the process a bit smoother, Well done though!

Your Palo Alto store is freezing!! I only stayed about 3 minutes as I couldn’t stand it any longer. Are you trying to clear out your sweater stock?!? Seems fishy to me.
Bought a pair of fun swim trunks and am really happy. Picked them up at your shop in LA while on vacation. Will def seek you out when I get home too.
My favorite store. My boyfriend even tolerates it since you have those comfy leather chairs with interesting magazines for him to read while I explore.

It’s pretty rare to find a store that actually recommends things that look nice on me instead of just trying to sell me something. I didn’t find jeans that fit me well, but I have pretty irregular requirements. Even though I didn’t buy anything the entire experience was a delight. I’ll be back next month when I need a new sweater for sure.

This is the first time I actually enjoyed shopping. I’m not big on pushy salespeople (is anyone?). I found the staff to be very helpful when needed, but stayed out of my way most of the time.
I was overcharged $50 last time I visited the store. I said something, but the sales person said It was correct. I had a discount to use, but they said it would apply "later"? What does that mean?
I’ve been to the Austin store 3 times and it has been closed every time. The only time your guys are open is when I am at work, and I worked pretty normal hours. Is this because the store is still working out the kinks? I really expected better. I gave you a 1 since the sweater I bought last year on the website is one of my favorites. But I don’t think I’ll be back to the store. Three strikes!
Your new stores are really sharp. But your sizing is super wacky. I’m a Medium at most places but with you I am a large? Who are you designing for?
